Volunteering at the Mill at Anselma is highly rewarding and a lot of fun. Because so much is new to us, we thrive in learning about the Mill together. Anselma's volunteers usually find themselves in charge of something before long! But don't let that scare you! We can use your help whenever you are available to provide it. Here is a sampling of the types of help we are looking for this year:

Mill Apprentices - You will learn how to maintain and operate the Mill's equipment. Apprentices will operate the Mill's machinery during public hours.

Mill Guides - Guides make the Mill's history meaningful for our visitors. You are not required to know how to run the mill to be a guide! Just to be friendly and cheerful!

Site Maintenance - We depend on volunteers to keep the grass down and the weeds at bay!

Collections - Volunteers help us manage our vast artifact collections and to keep the mill clean.

Special Events - Help us coordinate and/or staff our Water Wheel Celebrations, special tours and events as they arise.

Administrative - Help with the mailings, database entry and management, and other help.

Have we piqued your interest? If so, please sign up now to receive further information.
